Glasnow was born in Santa Clarita, California, on August 23, 1993. Tyler Allen Glasnow is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball.
He comes from a sporting background (MLB). He formerly played for the Pittsburgh Pirates in Major League Baseball.
Glasnow went to Santa Clarita’s William S. Hart High School. He has committed to playing baseball for the University of Portland in college.
Glasnow was drafted in the fifth round of the 2011 Major League Baseball draft by the Pittsburgh Pirates. Glasnow got a $600,000 signing bonus with the Pirates and debuted professionally in 2012 with the Gulf Coast Pirates of the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League.
Glasnow was sent to the Tampa Bay Rays on July 31, 2018.

Donna Glasnow is the incredible mother of Tyler. she is married to Greg Glasnow and they have two sons together. Donna is reported to be a retired gymnast who went on to coach at Cal State Northridge. she won a national championship as the head gymnastics coach. Donna has also worked with his husband as a hardwood retailer in the Santa Clarita Valley.

He is the father of Tyler and his brother Ted who was a decathlete for Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Greg was a swimmer and a water polo player. He started his own flooring business at age 18, where he worked as a hardwood retailer in the Santa Clarita Valley.
