What Nationality is Shane Baz?

Shane Baz is a citizen of the United States. He was born in the city of Cypress, in the state of Texas, in the United States.

In addition, Shane is descended from Lebanese people through his father Raj, although his mother is an American citizen by birth.

At the age of 15, his father immigrated to the United States from Beirut, Lebanon, where he had grown up playing soccer.

Shane Austin Baz was born on June 17, 1999, in Cypress, Texas, and is a professional baseball pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball. In 2021, he made his Major League Baseball debut.

Baz went to Concordia Lutheran High School in Tomball, Texas, for his secondary education. As a junior, he posted a 1.06 earned run average (ERA) across 23 innings pitched, striking out 46 batters.

Last summer, Baz was a member of the United States national team. In order to play collegiate baseball, Baz reportedly committed to Texas Christian University (TCU).

The Pittsburgh Pirates selected him with the 12th overall pick in the 2017 Major League Baseball draft, despite the fact that he was considered one of the top prospects in the draft.

He officially signed with the Pirates a few days after being selected in the first round.
