Cameron Joseph Gallagher, known as Cam Gallagher is a professional American baseball player who plays the position of a catcher for the Kansas City Royals of Major League Baseball.

Cam grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania where he was born on December 6, 1992. His parents are Glenn Gallagher and Gwen Gallagher. He attended Manheim Township High School in his birth town.

Cam began his baseball career in 2011 when he was selected by the Kansas City Royals team during the second round of the 2011 MLB draft. He played for the Royals up until they finished the 2016 baseball season and he was added to their 40-man roster.

In August 2017, the Royals promoted him to their 25-man roster when another player got injured. He managed to make his MLB debut that same day during Royal’s second game against the Seattle Mariners.

In 2018, Gallagher made a hitting record of .206/.250/.302 for the Royals with 1 home run and 7 RBI in 63 at-bats. He also played in 45 contests in the 2019 baseball where he slashed .238/.312/.365 with career-highs in home runs (3) and RBI.
