Which team is DeVante Parke joining?
DeVante Parke is still with the Miami Dolphins for now.
Since the Dolphins selected Parker in the 2015 draft, Parker has been with the team. Since his first year in Miami, he’s been a productive wide receiver, and he had his greatest year in 2019 with 72 receptions for 1,202 yards and nine touchdowns.
This was Parker’s only season in which he appeared in every game. There are only 13 games that Parker is expected to miss per year, but the 2019 season has shown just how much better he can be when he plays every snap.
However, other teams have shown an interest in Parker, who inked a four-year contract deal with the Miami Marlins in 2019. Tyreek Hill’s presence in Miami is sure to reignite that interest.
But there isn’t really any reason why they shouldn’t at least make a phone call to talk to Parker about the rest of the receivers.
Despite the fact that he’s not the most high-profile player to be traded this offseason, the Indianapolis Colts would benefit greatly if he joins the team.
Parker is a better wide receiver than any of Indianapolis’ existing options except for Pittman, and that should be enough to pique the interest of the Colts.
When another wide receiver is up for grabs, Indianapolis just cannot afford to stand by and do nothing.
