Nick Candy, a lifelong Chelsea supporter who said he was contemplating a consortium offer to buy the club after owner Roman Abramovich placed it up for sale after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, has a brother named Christian.

The sale was delayed as Abramovich’s assets, including Chelsea, were frozen to prevent him from profiting from the club.

However, the UK government was willing to explore a change to its sanctions license that would enable a sale as long as Abramovich got no monies.

Who is Nick Candy’s brother?

Christian Candy

Christian Candy is a brother to Nick Candy.

Nicholas Anthony Christopher Candy (born January 23, 1973) and Christian Peter Candy (born July 31, 1974) are luxury property developers from the United Kingdom.

In the Estates Gazette rich list 2010, the brothers were reported to have a combined net worth of £1.5 billion, putting them at number 52 on the list of the UK’s wealthiest property developers.

The brothers were educated at Priory Preparatory School and Epsom College in Surrey after being born in London to a Greek-Cypriot mother and an English father.

Christian went on to King’s College London to pursue a business management degree, although he did not complete it.

They purchased their first home, a one-bedroom flat in Redcliffe Square, Earl’s Court, London, in 1995.
