Who Is Pan Jiluan?
Pan Jiluan was a Chinese scientist who served as president of Nanchang University, and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Pan Jiluan born on 24 December 1927 in Jiujiang. He is a citizen of the People’s Republic of China.
Pan Jiluan was educated at Harbin Institute of Technology, Tsinghua University, and National Southwestern Associated University.
He has worked in the welding industry. He was a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Academic Division of Technological Sciences. Pan Jiluan has served as the head of the school.
He was enrolled in National Southwestern Associated University’s Mechanical Department in August 1944.
The National Southwestern Associated University was abolished in July 1946, and he transferred to Tsinghua University’s Department of Machinery to continue his studies.
He continued and taught at the university after graduating in August 1948. In October 1948, he joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Under the supervision of Soviet scientist Prokhorov, he began graduate work at Harbin Institute of Technology in August 1950 and received his master’s degree in 1953. He went on to teach at the institute after graduating.
He returned to Tsinghua University in August 1955, where he was promoted to full professor in 1978 and director of the Machinery Department in 1991.
What Happened To Pan Jiluan?
Pan Jiluan died of an illness in Beijing at the age of 94, however, an actual cause of death is yet to be discovered and communicated.
