Jair and Xander Bogaerts, fraternal twins who signed with the Red Sox out of Aruba in 2009 at the age of 16, set their eyes on the goal together. Both of them aspired to play in the major leagues at the same time.

Jair Bogaerts and his brother Xander Bogaerts were both signed by the Boston Red Sox, however, he was eventually moved to the Chicago Cubs during the GM Theo Epstein period and then released.
Before being dealt to the Chicago Cubs in 2012, Jair Bogaerts spent two minor-level seasons with the Red Sox. After a few months, he was freed. Jair Bogaerts is now employed by the Beverly Hills Sports Council and Rafa Nieves, one of its top agents.
