Calvin Ridley is a professional football wide receiver who plays as a wide receiver for the Atlanta Falcons football team of the National Football League(NFL). Calvin was born December 20, 1994, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States
Calvin had his high school career at the Monarch High School in Coconut Creek, Florida. He played high school football for his school’s team and was honoured with a five-star rating as a recruit and was also considered to be the best receiver in the class of 2015 according to 247Sports, Rivals, and ESPN.
In his college career, he played for the University of Alabama from April 2014 till early 2018 when he decided to stop playing college football and go into the NFL.
He was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons football team in January during the first round of the 26th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. In July that same year, the Falcons signed a four-year deal with him which is worth $10.9 million and comes with a $6.1 million signing bonus.
