Paul Anthony Gingsborg was a British-born Italian Historian and author in the 1980s at the University of Siena. He was born on July,18,1945 in London and passed away today, May 11, 2022, at age 77. He was born of Jewish parentage and had been faced with Holocaust discrimination in his early life and later became a leading figure in the Girotondi movement(2002) which for transparency in public life.
Ginsborg was a professor of Contemporary European History at the University of Florence before his demise. He had moved shortly after lecturing at the University of Cambridge to Florence. Professor Paul was one of the leading authorities in contemporary Italy. He had written books, journals, articles, and newspapers that centered on the social and political sciences
He is the author of books like A history of Contemporary Italy(1990), The Politics of Everyday Life (2005), Democracy: Crisis and Renewal(2008), and many others which were used in Academia.
