Andrew Heaney is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Heaney went to Putnam City High School in Warr Acres, Oklahoma, and was a member of the baseball team there.

He was drafted in the 24th round of the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft by the Tampa Bay Rays, but he declined to sign and instead enrolled at Oklahoma State University, where he played college baseball for the Oklahoma State Cowboys in the Big 12 Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I.

In the summer of 2011, he pitched in collegiate summer baseball for the Cape Cod Baseball League’s Falmouth Commodores.

Heaney had an 8–2 win-loss record and a 1.60 earned run average (ERA) in 118+13 innings pitched in his junior season of 2012. With 140 strikeouts, he led all NCAA pitchers.
