Brain Charles Houston is a New Zealand-Australian pastor and evangelist who founded the Hillsong Church in 2001.

Brain Houston was born on February 17, 1954, to Frank Houston and Hasel Houston in Auckland, New Zealand. He is married to Bobbie Houston. They have been married since 1977.

Brain and his wife bobbie had two sons, Joel Houston and Ben Houston, and a daughter Laura Houston.

Houston and his wife Bobbie reside in the suburb of Glenhaven, Sydney, Australia.

Acording to reports, the resignation, the culmination of a series of scandals surrounding the church, was announced by Hillsong’s board in a statement published on Wednesday that said, “We acknowledge that change is needed.”

Brain resigned ion Janurary, after news broke out about a past child abuse case that was made against him some time back.

The younger Houstoin was said to have been charged by police in Australia for failing to bringing to bare a criminal act and one count of concealing a serious indictable offense.

His resignation is said to be shockl for both his fathers church; Sydney Christian Life Center, and his own church Hills Christian Life Center which he merged to become what it is now.
