Kailia Posey, who played Kailia on Toddlers and Tiaras, died at the age of 16. Her mother confirmed the tragic news in a Facebook post.
She wrote; “I don’t have words or any thoughts. A beautiful baby girl is gone,” she wrote. “Please give us privacy as we mourn the loss of Kailia. My baby forever”.
There is presently no news on the cause of her death, however, according to TMZ, multiple stories imply she was involved in an altercation in Las Vegas.
On TLC’s iconic show Toddlers & Tiaras, Kailia was one of the stars. The show chronicled the lives of families as they prepared their children to compete in beauty pageants from 2009 to 2013.
Kailia was only ten years old when she appeared on the show. She was dubbed a natural talent and went on to win a number of events.
She continued to compete in beauty pageants and frequently updated her Instagram account with headshots and professional updates.
