Cooper Noriega, a popular TikTok user, has died. He was 19 years old at the time.
A representative for the Los Angeles Medical Examiner-Coroner states that Noriega was declared dead at the scene in a Burbank parking lot on Thursday evening.
His cause of death has been delayed, which “means that a cause of death has not been determined after an autopsy and the medical examiner has requested more research.”
“Once the tests/studies come back, the doctor evaluates the case again and determines the cause of death,” the representative continued.
How Did Cooper Noriega Die?
Noriega revealed on social media four days before his death that he was starting a Discord server dedicated to discussing mental health, and he asked his followers to join.
“If you’re really into getting your emotions out, or whatever comes to join. He said in a TikTok video. I created the server because of how much I love you guys and how much I struggle with myself“.
According to TMZ, police got a 911 call from someone who found Noriega unconscious in a mall parking lot outside of Los Angeles. Paramedics arrived shortly after, but were unable to revive him, according to the site.
There were no signs of trauma, and there is no suspicion of foul play, but an autopsy will be conducted.
