Meet Political Activist and U. S. Representative for Alaska congressional district Donald Edwin Young. Donald Young is reportedly dead. The news came as a shock when he passed away whiles traveling in a concourse at Los Angeles International Airport. He was reported to have lost consciousness on the flight to Alaska.
Don Young before his death, was a United States Representative for the Alaska district from the year 1973 until his death. Don was born on June 9, 1933, in Meridian, Sutter, California. He commenced his political career when he was elected as Mayor of Fort Yukon. There he served from the year 1964 to 1968.
Before being a representative, he ran for the House of Representatives race on the year 1964 and finished in the tenth position. But he was re-elected to the House of State in the year 1968. With his Job as a representative of Alaska, he first served from 1967 to 1971. According to Don, he said he loved the job and was very ambitious about it.
He again served from the year 1971 to 1973, before being elected two a two-member District with the task of Republican State Senator with John Butrovich. He however did not enjoy the Senate role.
Don’s death comes as a lethal surprise and a great loss to the government of the United States, looking at the long-serving of an exuberant personality like Don passing away, is a great loss. He died in the line of duty and a befitting burial will be given to him. May his soul rest in peace.
