Joey Gallo is an American professional baseball outfielder for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball. He previously played in MLB for the Texas Rangers.

Born on November 19, 1993, in Henderson, Nevada, in the United States of America, Joey is said to have a height of 1.96 m.

Gallo, who was drafted by the Rangers in the first round of the 2012 draft, made his Major League Baseball debut with the team in 2015.

The Texas Rangers chose Gallo in the first round, with the 39th in general choice, in the 2012 Major League Baseball draft.

Instead of enlisting at LSU, Gallo signed with the Rangers for a $2.25 million signing bonus. The 18 homers were an Arizona League record. He was named the Arizona League MVP.
