Joshua Randol Fleming, an American professional baseball pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball, was born on May 18, 1996. (MLB). In August of that year, he made his MLB debut.

Fleming pitched for the Columbia Eagles at Columbia High School in Columbia, Illinois.

The Tampa Bay Rays selected Fleming in the fifth round of the 2017 MLB draft out of Webster University. That year, he joined with the Princeton Rays and made his debut.

Fleming joined the Charlotte Stone Crabs in July and had a 3–3 record and a 4.11 ERA in his first season. After posting a 2-1 record with a 3.31 ERA in 21 games, the Montgomery Biscuits named Fleming MVP of the season.

With the Durham Bulls, he concluded the season with a 5.14 ERA in four games.

Fleming was added to the Rays’ 60-man roster in July 2020.

After Rays starter Yonny Chirinos was ruled out for the remainder of the season with a ruptured UCL on August 21, Kevin Cash announced that Fleming will be brought up and make his MLB debut on August 23, against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Fleming and his wife, Katie, met at Webster University (where she was a volleyball player) and are set to marry in November 2020 in St. Louis.
