June Muriel Brown OBE was an English actress and author. She was best known for her role as Dot Cotton on the BBC soap opera EastEnders.

Born on February 16, 1927, in  Needham Market, United Kingdom, June Brown is known for her role as Dot Cotton in EastEnders.

She is a mother of five children by the names of Lousie Arnold, Chloe Arnold, Naomi Arnold, William Arnold, and Sophie Arnold.

June was born to his parents by the names of  Henry William Melton Brown and Louisa Brown. Brown has five siblings;  Marise Brown, Rosemary Brown, Lois Brown and John Brown.

The actress has married and divorced on two different occasions with the first being to  John Garley who she married in 1950 but unfortunately divorced in 1957.

She again was said to have married Robert Arnold in 1958 but again the relationship didn’t last long as they broke up in 2013.

In 2005, she won Best Actress at the Inside Soap Awards and received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the British Soap Awards.
