Kyle Harris Higashioka is an American professional baseball catcher for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball.

He was drafted in the seventh round of the 2008 MLB draft, and made his MLB debut in 2017.

Born on April 20, 1990 (age 31 years), in  Huntington Beach, California, in the United States of America, Kyle began his high school education at  Edison High School in Huntington Beach, California.

The New York Yankees selected him in the seventh round of the 2008 MLB draft.

He signed with the Yankees, receiving a $500,000 signing bonus, rather than attending college.

Kyle Higashioka is married to Alyse Higashioka. His father, Ted, is a third-generation Japanese American.
