Sir David Mark Rylance Waters is an English actor, playwright, and theatrical director who was born on January 18, 1960. Between 1995 through 2005, he served as the first artistic director of Shakespeare’s Globe in London.
Following the death of his “beloved” brother in a bike accident, performances of actor Sir Mark Rylance’s West End musical Jerusalem have been canceled. Rylance, who is presently acting in the West End, released a statement confirming his brother’s death.
“I am so sorry to tell you that on May 28th, my dear brother Jonathan Waters was knocked off his bicycle and tragically died of his injuries,” he stated
“In order to attend the funeral in California, I, unfortunately, have to miss three performances of Jerusalem over 11-12 June”.
How Did Jonathan Waters Die?
Last week, the Dunkirk star’s brother was riding in Oakland when he was apparently hit by a car and sustained serious head injuries. Johnathan Waters who was one of main people at the Bay Area’s Wine and Restaurant and was popular in the area, which have caused his death to be a major issue.
Jonathan Waters passed away due to the seriousness of his injuries caused to his head during the crash.According to Ryland Waters he passed away the next day after the accident.
