One of Russia’s top paratroop commandants has been killed in Ukraine in the furthest down-the-line catastrophe for Vladimir Putin’s incapacitating conflict exertion.
The demise of Colonel Sergei Sukharev, of the 331st Guards Parachute Assault Regiment from Kostroma, was affirmed by state TV in Moscow.

Sukharev was seen on Russian TV in January when he drove his soldiers back from Kazakhstan where they had been sent following an influx of fights.
