Michaela McAreavey(Harte) was a wonderful young lady cruelly murdered. I was lucky enough to call her and her family, my good friends. The video tonight showing people in an orange hall singing gleefully about her death is beyond sickening. I really really despair.
Another person took social media to also write saying;
Regarding the video of lodge members celebrating/gloating about the death of Michaela McAreavey, I spent years going to formal events and being the only Catholic in attendance. Let me tell you, when that demographic believes they’re in a safe space, the mask slips entirely.
