Former Spartak football player Viktor Samokhin has died at the age of 66. This was reported on the club’s website. In 1991, he returned to Moscow, where he briefly worked for CSKA, but soon resigned.
In 1992, he was invited as a game coach to Sokol Saratov, due to injury, he spent only one season there.
Furthermore, in 1993 he worked as a game coach at the Moscow club TRASKO. Before this period, from 1982 to 1985 he played for CSKA, moved to Hungary, where for the next five years he played for the Southern Group of Forces football team and then return in to Moscow.
Recently, he worked at the Spartak Academy named after Fyodor Cherenkov.
How Did Viktor Samokhin Die?
Even though the club website announced his death, currently, it is not known what might have caused his death or how he died.
