In Charlie Montoyo’s playing career, he played for Montreal Expos (1993) though he was earlier drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers. He also played in the minors.
Montoyo was a right-handed pitcher and batter. His playing height was 5 feet 10 inches (1.78 m) and his weight was 170 pounds when he was at his peak (77 kg).
During the 1993 season, Montoyo made four appearances for the Montreal Expos, playing second base and pinch hitting in two of the games.
