It is also claimed that Chethana did not notify her parents about the treatment and that the consent paperwork was filled out by a friend.

Friends and admirers of the actress are still in shock, and the incident has spurred a discussion about how safe these plastic surgery treatments are, and how body image concerns and the need to appear a specific way may be fatal.

We spoke with several medical professionals to learn more about liposuction, sometimes known as fat-free cosmetic surgery, and what may have gone wrong with the young actress.

Given that Chethana Raj did not appear to have any weight concerns, Dr. Sharma suspects lignocaine poisoning during the treatment, which may have resulted in the catastrophe in the lack of resources.

During operations, lignocaine is widely utilized as a numbing agent. “In the event of a lignocaine overdose, the brain slips into a deep slumber; there might be cardiac poisoning, in which the heart functions but is unable to pump much blood and the heart rate skyrockets, which is known as ventricular tachycardia,” explains Dr. Sharma.

“When these issues develop, you will require nocturnal breathing to recover because the medicine is slowly metabolized by the body. If you are at a tiny center with little amenities, the patient will die “the expert adds

He claims that liposuction is a frequent operation performed across the world, but it requires educated and certified personnel as well as suitable facilities.
