Xi Mingze is the sole child of Xi Jinping, China’s supreme leader and General Secretary of the Communist Party of China, and Peng Liyuan, a traditional opera singer.

Xi was born in the Fuzhou Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital on June 25, 1992.

Meet Xi Zhongxun

Xi Zhongxun was a communist revolutionary in China who later became a politician in the People’s Republic of China.

He is regarded as a member of China’s first and second leadership generations.

From the foundation of Communist guerrilla strongholds in northern China in the 1930s to the beginning of economic liberalization in southern China in the 1980s, he made significant and varied contributions to the Chinese communist revolution and the growth of the People’s Republic.

He was recognized for his political moderation as well as his career disappointments.

Several times he was imprisoned and purged. Xi Jinping, his second son, is the Chinese Communist Party’s current General Secretary.

Meet Qi Xin

Qi Xin is a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) member and novelist who has written several essays about her husband, Chinese communist revolutionary Xi Zhongxun.

She is the mother of Xi Jinping, the Chinese president and the current CCP general secretary.

In 1943, while attending Suide County’s middle school, Qi met Xi Zhongxun. Xi was still married to his first wife, Hao Mingzhu, and had three children with her at the time.

After meeting her sister and father, the head of education at the Counter-Japanese Military and Political University wrote to Xi, presenting Qi Xin.

On April 28, 1944, the two married at the prefectural party office in Suide County after Xi sent her own autobiographical introduction.

Meet Peng Longkun

Peng Longkun was the curator of a cultural center in the area.

 

Peng Longkun was subjected to’reform via labor,’ as described by Communist Party authorities.

Peng and her mother paid him visits, washing his unclean clothing and giving him money and food stamps.

Peng acted as a lookout, hiding under a tree and uttering bird cries to warn her mother and father if anyone was close by, while her mother and father held hands under the wall of the toilets her father had been forced to clean.

Meet Li Xiuying

Li Xiuying was an actress, who was forced to leave the group after it was disbanded.

Xi was born in the Fuzhou Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital on June 25, 1992.
