Mecole Hardman

Known professionally as Carey Mecole Hardman Jr. is a former American football wide receiver and return specialist who now plays for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). At the University of Georgia, he was a member of the football team.

He attended Elbert County High School, which is located in Elbert County in Georgia. He enrolled to play collegiate football at the University of Georgia, where he was a five-star prospect.

Hardman was a member of the Georgia football team from 2016 to 2018. Over the course of his career, he caught 60 passes for 961 yards and 11 touchdowns. As a return specialist, he recorded 39 punt returns for 592 yards and a touchdown, as well as 35 kick returns for 875 yards and two touchdowns.  It was against Alabama in the College Football Playoff National Championship game during his sophomore season when he scored a big touchdown.

His 80-yard reception from Jake Fromm in the third quarter of the 26–23 overtime loss was the highlight of his performance. He determined that he would forego his senior year and join the 2019 NFL Draft after his junior season.
