The 2012 Jaguars are without doubt the worst Jaguars in the history of the team.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are an American football club headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida that competes in the National Football League. The Jacksonville Jaguars are a member club of the American Football Conference South division of the National Football League. They participate in the National Football League. TIAA Bank Field is where the team’s home games are held.
The 2012 Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguars were blown out at home, this time by Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts, who defeated them 27-10.
The Jaguars have been outscored 153-44 in their last five home games, bringing their season scoring difference to -109.
The club is 1-8, with their single win coming against the Colts on a late long touchdown throw from Blaine Gabbert to Cecil Shorts III.
This is, by far, the worst team in club history. Even the 1995 expansion team was better. By Week 10, the Jaguars had three victories and three losses greater than a touchdown. The 1995 Jaguars offensive was at the bottom of the league, while the 2012 Jaguars offense, total offense, and points are near the bottom.
This club lacked the talent to compete with even average NFL opponents on a weekly basis. Gene Smith’s team featured a few guys worth maintaining moving ahead. It required a complete makeover of key positions and the whole front offense.
