Christopher Lamar Lammons is a cornerback with the National Football League’s Kansas City Chiefs. He attended South Carolina University and played college football there.
Lammons attended South Carolina for four years. Lammons started all 13 Gamecocks games as a junior, recording 53 tackles (four for loss), a sack, five passes defended, and finishing eighth in the Southeastern Conference with three interceptions.
He finished third on the team as a senior with 79 tackles (three for loss), two forced fumbles, and seven passes defended. Lammons finished his collegiate career with 177 total tackles (nine for loss), a sack, four interceptions, and 21 passes defended, including three forced and three recovered fumbles.
Lammons was added to the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad on December 10, 2019. Lammons remained on the Chiefs’ practice squad for the remainder of the 2019 season, including the team’s Super Bowl LIV triumph. On February 5, 2020, he re-signed with the Chiefs.
On September 5, 2020, he was waived during final roster cuts and signed to the practice squad the next day. On December 5 and 12, he was promoted to the active roster for the team’s weeks 13 and 14 games against the Denver Broncos and Miami Dolphins, respectively, and was demoted to the practice squad following each game.
