Nnamka Samson Ebukam is a famous Nigerian American Football player, who was born on May 9, 1995, in Onitsha, Nigeria. Samson is the Defensive end for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League(NFL). He played college football at Eastern Washington and was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

Samson schooled and graduated from David Douglas High School in Portland, Oregon in 2013. He played High School football for the Scots in High School. As a senior, Samson played at defensive end, tight end, and fi\ullback. earning first-team All-Mount Hood conference honors as a defensive end, and also earning honorable mention honors as a tight end.

Ebukam received only two Scholarship offers when he completed High School and he proceeded to Eastern Washington University over an offer from Portland State. He played for Eastern Washington as a three-year starter. Samson was not selected to participate in the 2017 NFL Combine, however, he participated in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.

He was selected by the Los Angeles Rams in his fourth round with 125 overall picks of the 2017 NFL. He signed a four-year, $3.01 million contract that includes a signing bonus of $613,082 with the Los Angeles Rams in 2017 and later in March  2021, he signed another two-year contract with the San Francisco 49ers.
