Chris Shula is an American football coach who was born February 5, 1986, in Miami, Florida, United States of America. He is currently the linebackers coach for the Los Angeles Rams team of the National Football League (NFL).
Chris comes from a family of coaches. He is the son of former Cincinnati Bengals head coach Dave Shula and the grandson of coach Don Shula. His uncle Mike Shula was the former head coach at Alabama.
Chris started his coaching career in 2010 at the Ball State University where he was the assistant linebackers coach for the Ball State Cardinals football team.
Later in 2011, he became the graduate assistant coach at the Indiana Hoosiers football program at the Indiana University Bloomington. He then coached as a defensive coordinator at John Carroll University in 2014.
In 2015, he was made the defensive quality control coach for the San Diego Chargers team. From 2017 till the present, Chris has been coaching the Los Angeles Rams team. Between 2017 ton2018, he was the assistant linebackers coach for the team, From 2019 to 2020, his position changed to outside linebackers coach and currently, he serves as the linebackers coach.
