Who Is Coach Tyler Judkins?

Tyler Judkins is a National Football League (NFL) assistant strength and conditioning coach who has worked with the Kansas City Chiefs since 2021.

Tyler Judkins Biography

Tyler Judkins was born in the Minnesota town of Lakeville. Tyler has a son named Carter and is married to Katie.

Judkins graduated from Augsburg College in Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 2010. He was a four-year letterwinner for the Augsburg football team as a defensive back.

Judkins joined the NFL after six years on the UCLA Strength & Conditioning staff (2012-17).

In August 2014, he was elevated to assistant strength and conditioning coach under the guidance of Sal Alosi, the previous head football strength, and conditioning coordinator.

During his time as a graduate assistant in the Bruin program from 2013 to 2014, Judkins obtained his master’s degree in Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention.

In 2012, he started his time at UCLA as an intern with the Bruin Strength team.

Judkins holds the NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist – CSCS certification, as well as the USAW Level 1 Olympic Weightlifting, Functional Movements System Level 1 FMS, Functional Range Conditioning FRC Mobility Specialist, Precision Nutrition Level 1 and Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, AED certifications.
