Did Tyler Judkins Ever Play In The NFL?
Tyler Judkins began his career in the NFL as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. Tyler only played College Football at Augsburg University.
While working as a strength and conditioning coach for the UCLA Bruins from 2012 to 2017, Judkins was recruited to the NFL.
His promotion to assistant strength and conditioning coach, working under the guidance of Sal Alosi, the previous head football strength and conditioning coordinator, occurred in August of that year.
During his time as a graduate assistant in the Bruin program from 2013-14, Judkins obtained his master’s degree in Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention.
2012 marked the beginning of his stay at UCLA, where he worked as an intern with the Bruin Strength crew.
Originally from Minnesota, Judkins received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Augsburg College, where he graduated in 2010.
In his four years as a defensive back with the Augsburg football team, he earned all-conference honors.
Judkins is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
He has also earned the following certifications throughout his professional career: USAW Level 1 Olympic Weightlifting, Functional Movements System Level 1 FMS, Functional Range Conditioning FRC Mobility Specialist, Precision Nutrition Level 1, and Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, and AED.
