Troy Walters, the full name Troy McHenry Walters is an American professional football coach and a former player. Troy, who was born December 15, 1976, in Bloomington, Indiana in the United States of America is currently the wide receivers coach for the Cincinnati Bengals football team of the National Football League(NFL).
During his time as a player, he played as a wide receiver and punt returner in the National Football League for eight seasons.
Troy had his high school education and career at A&M Consolidated high school located at College Station in Texas. After high school, he gained an athletic scholarship to attend Stanford University where he played for the Stanford Cardinal football team from 1996 to 1999.
He started professional coaching in 2009 with the Indiana State Sycamores football of the Indiana State University. He was their Offensive coordinator, quarterbacks coach and their wide receivers coach. From 2010 to 2015, he was the wide receivers coach for Texas A&M, the North Carolina State Wolfpack football team (2012) and the Colorado Buffaloes football team at the University of Colorado Boulder.
Troy was hired by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2020 to be their assistant wide receivers coach. A year later, he was promoted to the position of wide receivers coach.
