Dan Pitcher, an American football coach, is the quarterbacks coach for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League. He was born on January 13, 1987.

Pitcher attended Colgate University in Hamilton, New York, where he was a quarterback. He spent three years with the Raiders, missing one due to injury and redshirting the other.

From 2009 to 2011, he attended SUNY Cortland, his local college. He was a finalist for the Gagliardi Trophy, the Division III equivalent of the Heisman Trophy, during his senior season.

The Colts had a 41-23 regular-season record (.641) during his time there, and he was a member of a football team that earned three playoff trips, including two AFC South titles, and one trip to the AFC Championship Game.

Pitcher was in charge of preparing advance scouting reports on opponents, evaluating free agents, keeping track of the team’s roster, and appraising players from opposing teams.

During his time with the Indianapolis Colts, Pitcher worked in player personnel for four years. Pro scout in 2014-15 after being promoted from scouting assistant in ’12-13. He served the organization for two seasons.
