Eric M. Bieniemy Jr., an offensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs, was born on August 15, 1969, and is an American football coach and former player. He has been named a consensus All-American while playing college football for the Colorado Buffaloes.
Bieniemy returned to Colorado after finishing his playing career as the running backs coach.
Before joining the Chiefs as the running backs coach, he was the offensive coordinator at Colorado. As their running backs coach in the NFL, he tutored Adrian Peterson and Jamaal Charles, who combined for seven pro bowl appearances in eight seasons.
Bieniemy is a Louisiana native who was born in the city of New Orleans. He lettered in football and track and field at Bishop Amat High School in La Puente, California, where he carried for 2,002 yards and 30 touchdowns as a senior, receiving second-team All-America honors in football.
