Greg Gaines is an American football nose tackle for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He is said to have played college football in Washington.

Gaines went to La Habra High School in La Habra, California. Gaines was initially dedicated to going to Boise State, however followed lead trainer Chris Petersen from Boise State to Washington when he became a lead trainer.

Gaines played at Washington from 2015 to 2018, with 2014 filling in as a red-shirt season. He procured fair notice All-Pac-12 of every 2016 as a protective lineman, second-group All-Pac-12 out of 2017, and first-group All-Pac-12 out of 2018.

In 2018 he won the Morris Trophy, given yearly to the best cautious lineman in the Pac-12 Conference as decided on by rival players.

Gaines was selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the fourth round (134th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft.
