How Many all Pros does Khalil Mack have?
Mack has been named to a three-time first-team All-Pro (2015, 2016, 2018))and six times Pro Bowl.
He made history in 2015 by being the first player in NFL history to be named first-team All-Pro at both defensive end and outside linebacker in the same season.
Mack was nominated to his second consecutive Pro Bowl and First-Team All-Pro in 2016 after helping lead the Raiders to their first postseason berth since the 2002 season.
During the 27–14 road defeat to the Houston Texans in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs, he recorded a team-high 11 tackles. Mack was selected Defensive Player of the Year in the NFL for the 2016 season.
Since Ryan Pace traded two first-round picks, a third, and a sixth to bring Mack to Chicago in 2018, he has been the most impactful player on the Bears defense.
Mack had 36 sacks, 14 forced fumbles, and six fumble recoveries in four seasons with the Bears. With six sacks in seven games in 2021, he was off to a good start, but a foot injury cut his season short.
With those two selections, the Bears won’t be able to replace what Mack brings to the team, but Poles made a long-term move by moving him now.
This is the first sign that Poles do not feel the Bears are on the verge of a Super Bowl appearance.
