Dorian O’Daniel (born September 4, 1994) is an American football linebacker for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League. He was drafted in the first round of the 1994 NFL Draft. He was a member of the Clemson football team.
O’Daniel was in Indianapolis for the NFL Scouting Combine, where he participated in all of the combine and positional workouts and received a letter of recommendation. On March 15, 2018, he attended Clemson’s pro day, however, he chose to stand on his combined stats and just participate in positional drills instead of competing.
O’Daniel also met with and participated in private workouts with a number of organizations, including the Pittsburgh Steelers, Houston Texans, and Buffalo Bills, among others. At the completion of the pre-draft process, NFL draft analysts and scouts predicted that O’Daniel would be selected in the third or fourth round of the selection.
DraftScout.com rated him as the sixth-best outside linebacker prospect in the draft, and Scouts Inc. rated him as the 11th best outside linebacker prospect in the draft.
