Kristopher Lee Bryant, known simply as Kris Bryant with the nickname “KB”, is a professional baseball player who takes the position of a third baseman and outfielder in baseball. Currently, as a free agent, Kris started his career in baseball at the Bonanza High School in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He was with the school’s University baseball team throughout his four years in the school. Within that period, he also featured in the American Legion Baseball game and was named by the US today as part of their All-USA baseball first-team in 2010.

In 2010, during the18th round of the 2010 Major League Baseball(MLB) draft, Kris was selected by the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team but he did not sign with them and chose to go play college baseball for the San Diego Toreros baseball team at the University of San Diego.

During the 2013 MLB draft, he was considered to be one of the best available players to be selected by all the teams but the Houston Astros, who had the first overall pick, scouted him instead. This caused the Chicago Cubs to choose him since they had the second pick. Kris signed with the Cubs for a signing bonus worth $6.7 million.

In 2015, Kris was invited to spring training and was also called up to the majors by the Cubs. He was with the Cubs till July 2021 when they traded him to the San Francisco Giants
