Marcus Dixon Super Bowl Awards

Dixon won his first Super Bowl championship with the Los Angeles Rams when they defeated the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles, California.

After the Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals, 23-20, in Super Bowl LVI, Dixon joined his teammates in celebrating. Dixon is an assistant defensive line coach with the Rams. In helping the Rams win their second Super Bowl in franchise history, he played an important role in their triumph.

In Dixon’s words, “it’s a feeling that’s hard to describe.” Dixon spoke to News 3 on Monday.

The feeling that comes with realizing you’ve just achieved something, that you’re world champions, that you know how hard the players worked, how hard the coaches worked, how hard the organization worked, and that it was all for this city and to do it at home is something you just can’t put into words.”

As part of a spectacular performance on Sunday night, Dixon’s defensive line sacked Joe Burrow seven times and applied pressure to the quarterback. Aaron Donald’s blitz and near-sack on fourth down resulted in Burrow’s pass being tipped over incomplete. Los Angeles went on to win the game as a result of this.
