Four-time All-Pro; an integral member of the 1960 NFL Championship team. He still ranks second in receptions and yards all-time. As an Eagle, Retzlaff caught 452 receptions for 7,412 yards and 47 touchdowns.
2. ZACH ERTZ
After a modest first season, he finished 2014 with 58 catches for 702 yards and three touchdowns. Ertz set a club record for catches in a season with 116 in 2018, his lone season starting 16 games. With 1,163 yards and eight touchdowns, he also shattered the league’s single-season tight end record of 110 receptions set by Jason Witten of Dallas in 2012.
Ertz finished the season with 88 receptions, which ranks third all-time in franchise history. His 916 yards paced the club and earned him his third consecutive Pro Bowl selection.
3. KEITH JACKSON
Keith still retains the franchise rookie record for most receptions in a season; he previously had the all-time record for receptions in a season. Jackson spent four seasons with the Eagles before becoming the league’s first free agent. Three of his four seasons were All-Pro, and he caught 242 receptions for 2,756 yards and 20 touchdowns, including 81 in 1988.
4. PETE PIHOS
Pete Pihos is widely considered to be one of the best offensive players in team history. To help the Eagles reach their first championship game in 1947, Pihos had a significant impact on both sides of the ball in his debut season with the team. When the Eagles won their first NFL championship in his second season, he hauled in 46 passes for 766 yards and 11 touchdowns.
The Pihos made the All-Pro or Pro Bowl every season from 1949 to 1955.
5. BRENT CELEK
While playing in Philadelphia, Brent Celek was a picture of consistency and tenacity. In 11 seasons, he has only missed one game, which occurred during the 2012 season. Celek is currently tied for fifth in all-time receptions and tenth in all-time yards with his career.
His 30 touchdowns place him second all-time among tight ends behind only Retzlaff. With 371 receptions for 4,713 yards over the course of his career, the former fifth-round draft pick outperformed all expectations.
