Robbie Gould is an American football placekicker for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He played with the Chicago Bears from 2005 to 2015, during which he became the franchise’s all-time leading scorer. Gould was originally signed by the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2005. He played college football at Penn State.
Gould was brought into the world to Cheryl and Robert Gould in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania. His dad was a three-time All-American soccer player who drove Lock Haven University to a Division II public title in 1980 and was drafted by the St. Louis Steamers in the mid-1980s.
He went to Central Mountain High School in Mill Hall, Pennsylvania, where he won letters in football, soccer, b-ball, and track.

Chicago Bears
Robbie Gould began his professional career with the Chicago Bears where he joined the team on October 8, 2005, following the Week 3 injury of their starting kicker, Doug Brien.
Gould kicked his first NFL field objective the following week in a 20-10 street misfortune against the Cleveland Browns, and his first game-victor in Week 9 against the New Orleans Saints, completing the 2005 season with a 77% field objective rate and hitting everything except one of his 20 additional point endeavors.

On March 9, 2017, Gould joined the San Francisco 49ers after penning down a two-year deal.
In his 49ers debut, Gould kicked a 44-yard field objective against the Carolina Panthers in a 23-3 misfortune. After three weeks, he kicked five field objectives against the Arizona Cardinals.
During a Week 13 street game against the Chicago Bears, Gould kicked five field objectives to lift the 49ers over his previous group 15-14, procuring him NFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his exhibition.
