Sam Adolphus Madison, Jr., an American football cornerback who retired after 12 seasons in the National Football League, was born on April 23, 1974. (NFL). He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the 1997 NFL Draft after attending the University of Louisville.

He was a member of the Arizona Cardinals throughout his college football career. Madison was a four-time Pro Bowl selection with the New York Giants. With the Giants, he won his first Super Bowl ring in Super Bowl XLII.
