The San Francisco 49ers (sometimes known as the San Francisco Forty-Niners) are an American football team headquartered in San Francisco. The 49ers are a member of the National Football Conference (NFC) West division of the National Football League (NFL) and play their home games at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, which is 38 miles (61 kilometers) southeast of San Francisco.
The prospectors that landed in Northern California during the 1849 Gold Rush inspired the team’s name.
The team has had some good linebackers who in their own ways helped the team to achieve some good titles. Those are the players we will talk about in this article.
