1) Jim Kelly

C’mon, clearly Kelly is number one. He guided the Bills to four consecutive Super Bowl appearances and is a Pro Football Hall of Famer. He’s also the all-time passing leader in Bills’ history.

2) Joe Ferguson

If you speak to my dad, you’ll hear about Joe Ferguson. He was a Bills QB for 11 years throughout the ’70s and early ’80s and is second in Bills passing numbers and victories.

3) Doug Flutie

Flutie Magic was strong in Buffalo between 1998 and 2000. Flutie restarted his NFL career following a tremendous run in the Canadian Football league. He guided the Bills to two playoff berths (even though he didn’t wind up starting the second) and had an excellent 21-9 record as a Bills starting QB.

4) Jack Kemp

I’m much too young to have seen Jack Kemp play but he was the AFL club Bills quarterback before they joined the NFL. He guided the Bills to two AFL championships.

5) Ryan Fitzpatrick

I know, Fitz never reached the playoffs and had some ugly games, but he loved the community of Buffalo and didn’t have as outstanding a roster as former Bills quarterbacks. He’s still playing in the NFL after 15 years and still puts up outstanding stats!

6) Drew Bledsoe

It’s a pity the Bills never reached the playoffs with Bledsoe because he possessed amazing arm talent and had some really high-performance games for Buffalo from 2002 through 2004.

7) Josh Allen

Josh should probably climb this list after a few more years but he’s already appreciated by Bills fans for his playing style and a powerful arm. A 10-6 record and playoff berth in only your second year in the NFL also helps!

8) Tyrod Taylor

Tyrod Taylor overcame the Bills 18-year playoff drought at the conclusion of 2017 and was solid for the Bills from 2015 to 2017. He seldom turned the ball over and was dangerous rushing the ball, too.

9) Frank Reich

Reich was never a starting QB here in Buffalo but he was a fan favorite during the Super Bowl years. He also was the starting quarterback during the biggest comeback in NFL history against the Houston Oilers!

10) Rob Johnson

Johnson wasn’t a flawless player but he did have some spectacular games with the Bills. He was tied up in a quarterback debate with Doug Flutie in the late ’90s.
