K’Waun Lamar Williams is an American football cornerback for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League. He played college football at the University of Pittsburgh and attended Saint Joseph Regional High School in Montvale, New Jersey.
Williams didn’t play last week because he didn’t feel prepared enough for the game. In the news, Shanahan stated clearly that, K’Wuan’s body didn’t feel right or in a good spot to go on for the football. Due to that, he didn’t play against the Rams.
Williams was a last-minute scratch, which explains why the defense looked the way it did early on last Sunday. Shanahan said the team respected K’Waun’s reasoning for not wanting to play Williams left the game in the first quarter and was examined on the sideline.
The team announced that he is “questionable” to return due to a calf injury. Rookie Deommodore Lenoir stepped in at nickel cornerback, replacing Williams.
