Thomas Brown is an American football coach and former player. He is the running backs coach and assistant head coach for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL).
Brown previously served as the offensive coordinator and running backs coach at the University of Miami. He played college football at Georgia. Thereafter, he played professionally in the NFL for the Atlanta Falcons and the Cleveland Browns.
Thomas Brown enters his second season with the Rams in 2021 serving as the running backs/assistant head coach after joining the Rams as the running backs coach in 2020 after nine seasons in the collegiate ranks.
In his first season in Los Angeles in 2020, Brown supervised a hurrying assault that completed tenth in the association, averaging 126.1 surging yards per game. The running back room was driven by tenderfoot RB Cam Akers with a group best 625 yards on the ground.
Akers recorded a 61-yard hurrying endeavor against the 49ers in a Week 11 challenge. It denoted the longest run by a Rams rusher in the McVay period.
Most as of late, Brown filled in as the running backs’ mentor at South Carolina during the 2019 season. Brown supervised a decent surging assault, which included two running backs with more than 500 yards on the year.
