Austin State (2008) as Defensive line coach, Detroit Lions (2009) as Assistant defensive line coach, Detroit Lions (2010–2017) as Defensive line coach, Miami Dolphins (2018) as Defensive line coach.
On January 15, 2019, the San Francisco 49ers announced that Kocurek has been appointed as their defensive line coach.
Kris Kocurek was born on November 15, 1978, and is an American football coach and former defensive tackle who currently serves as the defensive line coach for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL).
The Miami Dolphins and the Detroit Lions have both hired him as an assistant coach in his past roles. Kocurek attended Texas Tech University and was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the seventh round of the 2001 NFL Draft. He played college football for the Longhorns. Kocurek was also a member of the Tennessee Titans’ roster.
