The San Francisco 49ers’ Mitch Wishnowsky is an Australian professional American football punter in the National Football League (NFL). Born on March 3, 1992, Mitch’s parents hail from Hawke’s Bay – a local government region of New Zealand on the east coast of the North Island.
Wishnowsky was drafted in the fourth round (110th by and large) of the 2019 NFL Draft. He was the first of two punters to be chosen that year. Wishnowsky marked a four-year contract with the 49ers on 30 April 2019.
