In the National Football League (NFL), Thomas Brown fills in as the running backs and assistant head coach for the Los Angele Rams. Brown previously served as the offensive coordinator and running backs coach at the University of Miami.

The 35-year-old coach was born on May 15, 1986, in Tucker, Georgia. He kick-started his professional football career at the Atlanta Falcons where he was drafted in the sixth round of the 2008 NFL Draft.
His rookie season was cut short by a horse-collar tackle during the preseason, landing him on injured reserve. He was waived prior to the following season on September 5, 2009.
